Uniform number selection will be assigned based on when you register.

The Spring/Summer season is our main lacrosse season at WBLax.  Below you will find more information about each of the levels in our Spring/Summer season.

• 14U: Generally 7th and 8th grade for 2023-24 school year
• 12U: Generally 5th and 6th grade for 2023-24 school year
• 10U: Generally 3rd and 4th grade for 2023-24 school year
• 8U: Generally 1st and 2nd grade for 2023-24 school year

We are always looking to add both parent and qualified non-parent coaches to our association.  We typically like to have a couple of parent coaches help out a qualified non-parent coach at our 8U and 10U levels.  On our 14U and 12U levels, we like to have experienced non-parent coaches do most of the work but need a parent or two to help with parent communication, practice time/date setting, coaching, behavioral issues and generally keeping the team organized and on track.

The following are our fees for the 2024 Spring/Summer season:

• 8U Season: $330 plus $67 New Uniform Fee*
• 10U Season: $350 plus $67 New Uniform Fee*
• 12U/14U Season: $510 plus $98 New Uniform Fee*

*New Uniforms this year: Our 8U through 14U teams will be getting new uniforms this season and so, the New Uniform Fee will be required to be paid by all players.  Uniforms are already ordered and will have a pre-assigned jersey number on both the jersey and the shorts.  Uniform size and number selection will be assigned based on when you register, so the earlier you register the more options for jersey number and jersey size you will have.  12U and 14U players will be getting a reversible sleeveless Uniform Top, Uniform Shorts, and a reversible practice pinnie.  8U and 10U players will be getting a reversible sleeveless Uniform Top, and Uniform Shorts.  Both the Uniform Top and Uniform Shorts will have player numbers on them.  

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:

All teams, 8U – 14U, will play in 2 tournaments for the season.  The tournament levels, dates, and locations are below:

All levels – GNLL Spring State Tournament, June 7-9th, Fernbrook Fields, Maple Grove, MN. – 4 Game Minimum.

8U/10U only – GNLL Summer State Jamboree – July 20, TBD – 3 Game Minimum.

12U/14U only – GNLL Summer State Tournament – July 27-28, TBD 3 Game Minimum.

IMPORTANT:  14U and 12U Players are expected to participate in our tournaments.  Players will be excused due to injury or illness at the time of tournament however, players are not excused due to another sport or family vacation UNLESS they indicate this in the “Season Conflicts” section on our registration form. 

GAME INFORMATION:

Our youth teams 8U – 14U participate in both the GNLL Spring and Summer Leagues.

GNLL (Spring) Games are played on weekends, typically with doubleheaders on either the Saturday or the Sunday of a given weekend.  These games will start the weekend of April 27 (May 4 for 8U/10U) and end with the GNLL Spring State Tournament on the weekend of June 7-9.  No games will be played over Memorial Day Weekend  

GNLL (Summer) Regular Season: Monday, June 10 – July 24, 2024 (Wednesday, July 17 for 8U/10U teams).  No games on Fridays or July 4.

Teams primarily play single games on weeknights but doubleheaders will be scheduled upon requests when able.  Games cancelled due to weather will try to be reschedule, although this is not always possible.

TRYOUTS and PRACTICES: 

More tryouts details will be communicated in early March.  Parents should keep these dates open for Tryouts/Practices at TCO Fieldhouse. ***TRYOUTS ARE CLOSED FOR VIEWING - COACHES AND DIRECTORS ONLY***

PRACTICES:

Practices for our 12U/14U teams will begin (weather permitting) the week of April 22nd.  Practices will be held 2-3 times per week (practice schedules will be determined by the coaches) until the end of July.
