New Uniforms this year: The plan is for all our Boy Teams to get new uniforms this season. Unlike in the past, uniforms (both reversible tops, and shorts) are to be purchased and owned by the family (player). Prices are not known at this point but will be communicated soon. Jersey numbers will be broken out based on graduation year and can be kept from season to season.
PRACTICES:
The first 9 practices will be held indoors at TCO Sports Garden in Vadnais Heights on the following dates:
April 11, 13, 16, 18, 20, 23, 25, 27, & 30 (if weather is nice we may move some to outdoors).
12U Players will practice from 5-6:30pm.
14U Players will practice from 6:30-8pm.
Throughout these first 9 practices, we will divide players into A and B teams for each level.
Going forward practices will be held 2-3 times per week (practice schedules will be determined by the coaches) until the end of July. A & B teams will be encouraged to practice together.
GAMES:
Our youth teams 8U and up, participate in both the GNLL (Spring) League and the YLM (Summer) League.
GNLL (Spring) Games are played on weekends, typically with doubleheaders on either the Saturday or the Sunday of a given weekend. These games will start the weekend of May 1 & 2 and end with the GNLL Spring State Tournament on the weekend of June 19 & 20th. No games will be played over Memorial Day Weekend May 29-31.
YLM (Summer) Games are typically played on weeknights as single games. These games will start as early as June 2nd and end with the YLM State Tournament on the weekend of July 24 & 25, or July 31 & August 1.
PRACTICES:
Practices for our 10U teams will begin (weather permitting) on or around May 1st. Practices will be held 2-3 times per week (practice schedules will be determined by the coaches) until the end of July. All 10U teams will be encouraged to practice together.

We are always looking to add both parent and qualified non-parent coaches to our association. I typically like to have a couple of parent coaches help out a qualified non-parent coach at our 8U and 10U levels. On our 14U and 12U levels, I like to have experienced non-parent coaches do most of the work but could also use a Parent or 2 to help with managing, coaching and/or keeping the team organized and on track.
If you are interested in being a parent or non-parent coach please reach out to our Boys Director at BoysDirector@wblax.com.
